Faculty Death: 30 second broadcast report
A college professor died at the age of 58 this morning after
losing her battle to cancer/ Elizabeth Billson lived for 10 years before it
finally took her life// Billson educated students for 36 years as a professor
at James Madison University in Virginia/ she was awarded by the university for
the “Outstanding Professor” award earlier last year/ the university estimates
that she may have taught 10,000 future teachers during her entire career at
James Madison//
Wreck: 30 second broadcast report
Two trucks were involved in a head-on collision earlier this
evening when they collided on I-59 resulting in a traffic jam/the road was
blocked in both directions for just about 45 minutes/ The accident occurred at
a particularly narrow part of the road where I-59 was undergoing a construction
project/ Neither driver was harmed in the accident/and drivers hit the brakes
but they still collided//Fuel from both trucks spilled onto the road after the
collision which caused an oil slick/ The drivers both received tickets for
speeding and reckless driving//
