Basketball Death
A 15-year-old basketball player died this morning during
practice at Central High School/ According to the the high schools trainer/ Todd White didn't have any prior illness
before he collapsed// White was pronounced dead at Central Valley Memorial
Hospital after failed attempts to revive
him/ Later today an autopsy will be performed//

Energy Plan
The secretary of the Interior announced the new 800 million dollar energy plan while traveling on a busy three day tour and speaking at the Western Governor’s Conference meeting in Salt Lake City//Grace Green praised the plan as an effective way to reduce dependence on foreign oil and to make America greener/ the plan calls for a five-year program that will reduce strip mining/ but will also ease licensing of new nuclear power plants.
