Crash
- A jet being flown by an Air Force major, crashed into the parking lot of the Super Shopping Mall striking 15 cars on Thursday at noon.
University Raises
- Liberty University held a public meeting on Friday to discuss the the change that would be made this fall to raise the pay for all staff 15 percent due to increased revenues from the state.
- After hearing about the possible 10 percent raise in tuition, about 200 journalism students decided to boycot all classes scheduled for the following day.
